Sixth severed foot surfaces off Canadian coast

(CNN) -- A severed foot -- the sixth in 11 months -- washed up on the shore of a Canadian island on Wednesday, police said.

The right foot was found by a woman walking on the beach, said Sgt. Mike Tresoor of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in the town of Campbell River on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

Isn't that eerie?? "a Canadian island" is quite an understatement....if any of you have ever visited, Vancouver Island is big. Very big. From where I live in BC it would take a good 2 days to get to Campbell River. Wonder where these are coming from????

I have no idea, but I'm sure we'll know eventually! It's surely ..scary!
